About The Project - Overview

The Arcade Creek Bridge construction project will replace the Auburn Boulevard bridge spanning Arcade Creek in Sacramento with an improved bridge structure and includes improvements at the intersection of Auburn Boulevard and Winding Way. The project will also modify access from Park Road to Auburn Boulevard.

The Auburn Boulevard Bridge was originally constructed in 1927. The existing bridge and adjacent roadway experience many deficiencies like cracking, exposed reinforcement and flooding. On average, 34,400 vehicles cross it daily and links traffic to Highway 80 on- and off-ramps.
